UbiCARE is a solution that supports the autonomy and independence of the person by monitoring daily activities in a non-intrusive way without interfering with the lifestyle, in full respect of the privacy and well-being of the person being monitored.UbiCARE is the app that allows family members or caregivers to independently detect and estimate the location of the person away from home, notifying only the interested contacts set by the user of any movement made via automatic SMS.Through simple initial configurations, the UbiCARE app in complete autonomy and total functionality in the background checks the names of public WiFi networks visible from the smartphone in order to notify any movement of the person monitored.
As soon as it verifies the change of position, also through the use of advanced georeferenced algorithms, it autonomously generates text messages to saved contacts, guaranteeing user safety and privacy from every point of view.The UbiCARE app also allows you to make a request for help from the person being monitored: pressing a simple button on the screen will send a detailed SMS to the predefined contacts containing the time and the GPS position that can be viewed on a cartographic map.
